Only the finest…
WINTER FARMS, owned and operated by Leslie Edison, is a private equestrian breeding and training facility located on 650 acres just outside of Park City, Utah. We pride ourselves on breeding to the finest European bloodlines to produce the highest quality dressage equine athletes for competition and for sale. Every stage of development, every hour of training and relaxation, every mouthful consumed is carefully managed with the end goal of producing superior horses for the show ring.
Designed by the renowned equine architect, John Blackburn, WINTER FARMS stables, indoor arena, and outbuildings provide the ideal breeding and training environment for all of our horses. Light, constant air circulation, large stalls, and controlled temperatures allow our horses to both exercise and rest in comfort.
WINTER FARMS Head Trainer and L Program Judge Graduate with Distinction, Sydni Nusink Cook, oversees the daily exercise and care program of every WINTER FARMS horse. Sydni trains, competes, and is the face of the WINTER FARMS team. From new foals to experienced equine athletes, Sydni has her finger on the pulse at all stages of development.
During their leisure time, WINTER FARMS horses enjoy acres of grass pasture turnout, reaping the benefits of unforced exercise and steady grazing. Appropriate pasture mates allow for easy equine friendships, while foals learn socialization skills and develop coordination, bone density, and muscle.
Additionally, seventy acres of WINTER FARMS river bottom land is reserved for grass hay production and sales. This ensures that the WINTER FARMS horses receive the highest quality forage every day of the year. Combined with limited dietary supplements, our horses’ nutritional needs are optimized as they grow and succeed as equine competitors.
